The Lynxmotion Bipedal Robot Scout (no servos) is a twelve-servo bipedal walker with six degrees of freedom (DOF) per leg. The advanced leg design allows for incredible flexibility. The chassis and servos are sold separately for those who want to use their own electronics. Please note that no example code is currently available.
Mechanical Construction
The robot is made of black anodized aluminum servo mounts, ultra-strong laser-cut Lexan structural components, and custom injection molded parts.
Servos
The walker is designed to be used with Hitec HS-5475 or HS-5645 digital servos.
Power Options
As with any walking robot, weight is a major concern. The best approach is to keep weight to an absolute minimum. We recommend using a LiPo battery or a 6.0V NiMH 1600mAh battery pack and a universal smart charger.
