The Kitronik Arcade Class Pack is a comprehensive kit that makes it easy to create retro arcade games. It comes with the Kitronik ARCADE, a programmable gamepad that works with the MakeCode Arcade block editor. Designed for classroom use, this pack contains 10 arcade gamepads, 10 USB cables and 40 batteries that store neatly in a reusable Gratnells tray.
The MakeCode Arcade editor required for operation is easy to use and suitable for all experience levels, from beginners to experienced gamers. It uses a simple drag-and-drop method to combine blocks to build programs.
The Kitronik ARCADE gamepad has been carefully designed to provide the best gaming platform. It features a full-color LCD wide viewing angle screen, a piezo speaker for audio feedback, a vibration motor for haptic feedback, six gamer input buttons, a menu button, a reset button, and an on/off switch. In addition, it features software volume control, a USB programming port, and two expansion ports for advanced users.
The gamepad can be powered by 3 AA batteries or a micro USB connector. For advanced users, there is a dual-channel expansion port and a debug port that can be connected directly to the microprocessor pins, allowing for custom bootloader code.
