Four-wheel drive
Easy to assemble
Aluminum alloy frame
Speed: 0.6 meters per second
Move in any direction without the need to rotate
Assembly completed, only wheels not installed
Nexus Robot has launched a 4WD omnidirectional Arduino compatible mobile robot kit. It includes a microcontroller, IO expansion, and a DC motor with an encoder. By changing the speed and direction of each wheel, it can move in any direction without changing direction. This is a learning kit that allows you to learn and enjoy the fun of omnidirectional mobility.
The uniqueness of omnidirectional wheels lies in their ability to roll freely in two directions. It can roll like a regular wheel or use the wheel to roll laterally along its environment. Omnidirectional wheels allow robots to transform from incomplete robots to complete robots. A non complete robot using ordinary wheels only has 2 out of 3 controllable degrees of freedom, namely forward/backward movement and rotation. The inability to move laterally will result in slower speed and lower efficiency for the robot when achieving its intended goals. A complete omnidirectional wheel can overcome this problem because it has a high degree of maneuverability. Unlike ordinary incomplete robots, complete omnidirectional robots can continuously move in any direction without changing the direction of the wheels. It can move back and forth, slide, and rotate in the same position.

Arduino 328 microcontroller board
This is a microcontroller board based on Arduino 168. It has 14 digital input/output pins (6 of which can be used as PWM outputs), 8 analog inputs, a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP connector, and a reset button. It contains everything necessary to support microcontrollers; Simply connect it to a computer using a USB cable or power it with an AC-DC adapter or battery to start using it.
